Youth Expert Panel Bios

Justin is a 14-year-old from Minnesota who likes skateboarding, soccer, football, basketball, and hockey and who wants to "make a difference" by helping young people who have been bullied.

Brad is a 10-year-old from Maryland who's into all kinds of sports. Brad believes the most important purpose of this campaign is to make sure people understand that bullying isn't cool. If bullying was eliminated, he says, all kids would have to worry about is getting good grades in school.

Brandon is a 12-year-old from Florida who enjoys building models and who knows that life would be simply "awesome" if bullying became a thing of the past. Brandon has had lots of fun working on the Stop Bullying Now! Campaign, and appreciates the chance to offer advice for our Public Service Announcements.

Mathew is a 14-year-old from Connecticut who likes listening to music, working on his computer, and public speaking. He says he got involved in the Stop Bullying Now! Campaign because, "I wanted to break down the walls of prejudice so that this world would be a better, more peaceful place now and in the future."

Aubrey, is a 17-year-old teen advisor to the Youth Expert Panel from California, who enjoys playing guitar, dancing, going to church and working out. Aubrey has seen bullying often, and believes that bystanders play the most important role in stopping it.

Rosa is a 14-year-old from New Mexico who likes football, music, and soccer. Rosa believes that young people really can stop bullying, and that life would be a lot nicer if bullies changed their ways.

Emily is a 13-year-old from Florida who enjoys basketball, swimming, track, and theatre. She's seen bullying at school and around her community, and she enjoys learning from the experiences of others on the Youth Expert Panel. She hopes for the day when more young people understand they shouldn't "just stand by when someone is being made fun of," and she looks forward to spreading that message that bullying is just plain "uncool."

Elizabeth is a 10-year-old from Minnesota who likes soccer, dancing, and swimming. She has seen the impact of bullying on a friend, and wishes that girls her age could go to school without worrying about gossip or threats from other young people.

Brienna is a 13-year-old from Arizona who likes music. Brienna has talked to the other Youth Expert Panel members about the days when she "used to bully a girl until she told me the way it made her feel." She feels the best way to stop bullying is to make sure bystanders understand how serious bullying is.

Thomas is a 12-year-old from Florida who enjoys drawing, and who got involved in the campaign because he wanted young people who are bullied to know that "people care."

Lindsey is a 9-year-old from North Carolina who likes horseback riding and basketball. She knows people who were once bullies, but who have changed - even becoming friends with individuals they have bullied!

Jamie is an 11-year-old from Oklahoma. She plays basketball and softball. She enjoys playing the piano, reading, and singing. She wanted to get involved in this Campaign because she has been bullied and wanted to learn the proper way to deal with this type of situation.

Shaun is a 10-year-old from Tennessee who likes video games who wants young people all around the U. S. to know that "bullying needs to stop," and that if it did "school would be great!"

Landon is a 14-year-old from Utah who likes football and hockey and who remembers, "I used to be a bully to make myself look higher on the chair, but then I realized there was no chair!" He knows that when bullying stops, "grades will improve and people will be happier."

Megan is a 10-year-old from Colorado who likes playing the flute and watching TV. She's working on stopping bullying because she looks forward to the day when young people who have been bullied, "can proudly go on with their lives and never have their feelings hurt."

Brian is a 12-year-old from Texas who likes basketball and swimming, and who believes, "all kids can stop bullies from hurting others," and that without bullying, "kids will stop skipping school and will no longer be scared."

Brielle is an 11-year-old from California who enjoys acting and boogie boarding, who hopes the campaign, "gives bystanders the courage to stop bullying" and that bystanders should, "empower others to do the same."

Leonardo is a 16-year-old teen advisor to the Youth Expert Panel from California who likes basketball, soccer, swimming, and rapping in Spanish. He's glad young people are involved in the Campaign, because bullying affects young people most of all. "I know there will always be aspiring bullies," he says, "but as long as this national campaign empowers people, bullying can be stopped."

Wravenna is a 19-year-old from Nebraska. She serves as one of the Youth Expert Panel's teen advisors. She enjoys public speaking, modeling, showing livestock, competitive events, and social activities.
